Ye Tumi Academy
~ Funds are being
raised to develop and support an extended day/extended year program that promotes "Global Citizenship" among
people of African descent worldwide utilizing cultural literacy, academic instruction, athletics, community service and
other team-building techniques. This educational program will initially target 'inner-city' youth in Los Angeles
and New York City before expanding to Accra, Ghana; Cape Town, South Africa and elsewhere domestically and internationally.
Main aims:
1) Educate youth about local and global circumstances and events that impact their lives.
2) Develop an effective
system for educating youth about historical, cultural and economic matters of importance in this age of 'globalization'
and its many manifestations.
3) Establish an international exchange program with at least one African nation by
2011.

2009 & 2010, Afrispora Worldwide, LLC is fundraising to get this program established and operating by Spring 2009 in Los
Angeles, Summer 2009 in Accra, and Fall 2010 in New York. City.
